  • nvm

Node Version Manager - POSIX-compliant bash script to manage multiple active node.js versions

  • I hail from the Node.js lands, where version managers like nvm download pre-built binaries when possible. I recently had to set up Pyenv on a low-end Ubuntu VM and compiling CPython was painfully slow. I know I can download pre-built binaries with apt-get, but is there a dedicated Python version manager that does the same thing?

  • p

:snake: Python Version Management Made Simple (by qw3rtman)

  • I did some digging, you could give "p" a try - don't ask me why it's called that. I don't know if it solves the issue with building from source, but there really aren't that many options for Pyenv.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
