Why not try a different Phillips air plugin with the new homebridge? Have you tried https://github.com/NikDevx/home-bridge-philips-air ?
According to the description the file paths should always be "homebridge", so at the moment both instances would interfere with each other when they both run (only one runs atm)...however, I could try to setup another homebridge instance and link that to another "homebridge" path in a sub-folder and see if that works. I'll give it a try.
