  • neo-tree.nvim

Neovim plugin to manage the file system and other tree like structures.

  • I have just started using Neo-Tree as a replacement of NerdTree. I have not been able to figure out how to do the following in Neo-Tree though:

  • bufferline.nvim

    A snazzy bufferline for Neovim

  • So, my brief attempt to make neo-tree, nvim-tree, and bunch of other explorer plugins to do this was not successful, as I couldn't find the right configuration for each plugin in the documentation with a quick search. Then I got frustrated, uninstalled all of these plugins, and decided to work with the built-in netrw feature. However, I decided to add a mapping that opens each file in a new buffer instead of a new tab. I haven't done this before, because I wanted to have the file names nicely tabbed on top. Therefore, I installed bufferline which visualises buffers similar to tabs. Now I have the freedom to open each file as a tab or as a buffer.
