  • youkai

  • It's more that it's time consuming and tedious to get correct (definitely the least fun package I've worked on). Next time I'm going to try to incrementally add well-tested functionality so at least what's implemented is actually usable (mainly string, comment, function, pair, and anyblock text objects with count/avy seeking; everything else can wait). You can follow youkai for that if interested.

  • evil-easymotion

:fast_forward: A port of vim easymotion to Emacs' evil-mode

  • I personally never use counts. Mainly I use avy (e.g. evil-avy-goto-word-1, evil-avy-goto-char-2, and also some evil-easymotion).

  • InfluxDB

  • zop-to-char

A visual zap-to-char command for emacs

  • I've never used Kakoune, but can't you get similar functionality with zop-to-char and easy-kill.

  • easy-kill

Kill & Mark Things Easily in Emacs

  • I've never used Kakoune, but can't you get similar functionality with zop-to-char and easy-kill.

  • super-save

Save Emacs buffers when they lose focus

  • Also, I recommend using super-save, if you are still regularly forgetting to save files.
