How do I get Bitwig (linux) to see the midi from my Digitakt?

  • I've got overwitch running and I can see the audio and midi ports in qpwgraph (and they both work, I can control a standalone soft synth) but Bitwig doesn't see the midi and there are no midi inputs to patch them into on the graph.

  • based on this post it seems that MIDI won't work directly in Jack on Linux, rather, you have to use some sort of ALSA->JACK bridge to get the midi from ALSA. have you tried that yet?
