App start error in React-Native

So I tried to run this app I made within React native through npx react-native start but when I did so, this error came up "Using react.gradle in your project is deprecated! You should move to "apply plugin: com.facebook.react" react.gradle is going to be removed in a future React Native project and your project will not build anymore. You can use the template as a reference: https://github.com/facebook/react-native/blob/main/template/android/app/build.gradle". Also, part of my code for one file in my code is like kinda dull/grayed out? I ran the command, and the metro showed up, then I pressed "a" and the error message came. Could anyone help?
