I got it working by downloading the split version, merging it with https://github.com/REAndroid/APKEditor and then patching the resulting apk, there was no need to sign the apk after merging because the revanced patcher will resign it anyways.
Should be possible using Termux, install java using pkg install openjdk-17 and allow storage access using termux-setup-storage, then just follow the APKEditor docs. I'd post the link to the clean apk, but there's no way to prove that I didn't tamper with it.
