  • Jackett

API Support for your favorite torrent trackers

  • Are you planning to run a GUI Ubuntu or server? I’ve run both, and for ease of use I recommend GUI if the hardware can handle it. Bare in mind you can always change the desktop environment. From there, you probably want a VPN - I recommend Mullvad because they accept cash, have servers in hundreds of cities and allow torrenting on all servers. The Mullvad client also allows you to turn on an “internet kill switch” so if the VPN drops, you won’t be torrenting in the clear. Next, install qbitorrent and turn on the remote access. Then I recommend looking into Jackett to manage your indexers, Sonarr for TV and Radarr for movies. If you want to get real, take a look at Overseerr as well (I don’t think it requires Plex anymore). If you setup all of those apps correctly, it will torrent to specific folders and then import directly into Jellyfin (I use Plex but the concept is the same).

  • Sonarr

Smart PVR for newsgroup and bittorrent users.
