Firmware hacking with Uncertainty

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/modular

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • UncertaintyGo

Firmware for the Olivia Artz Modular Uncertainty - https://oamodular.org/

  • TinyGo

Go compiler for small places. Microcontrollers, WebAssembly (WASM/WASI), and command-line tools. Based on LLVM.

  • This is a demo of custom firmware I wrote for the Uncertainty module using TinyGo. The script is using the TinyGo tone package to create 3 configurable digital square wave oscillators. Each oscillator can be quantized to a melodic scale and can set a root note for stacking chords or creating sub oscillators.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • EuroPi

EuroPi: A reprogrammable Eurorack module based on the Raspberry Pi Pico

  • EuroPi Turing Machine script is feeding the Uncertainty cv input with pulse 1 opening an envelope on Maths for voice 1 & 2, pulse 2 opens the second Maths envelope for sub osc voice 3. A little delay added for texture. That's pretty much it!
