V-Shell is a GNOME Shell extension that allows you to customize the layout and behavior of the Shell UI.

  • V-Shell extension has the option, ignoring all folders. But It also offers active folder previews with up to 9 icons and up to 256px size, that allows better app grouping with direct access to the first 4 or 9 apps from each folder (with adaptive dialog size). You can even open all apps from a folder at once by dragging the folder on the workspace thumbnail. Now the folders finally make sense even to me :)

  • vimium

    The hacker's browser.

  • Though I mainly navigate with a keyboard in Gnome or even with Vimium in multiple browsers, I'd hate to double my navigation time with a cursor or touchscreen. So to me, it's a great UX enhancement and I appreciate those that still support Dash, just as much as I appreciate your extension.

  • SurveyJS
