How to parse XML in Kotlin?

  XML Serialization library for Kotlin

I'm having trouble finding a mature and documented library to parse XML in Kotlin. Preferably I'd avoid tacking on something written in Java and go purely Kotlin. The problem is there doesn't appear to be any mature libraries capable of doing this. The only thing I've found on Google was xmlutil, but it's documentation is abysmal, there isn't a single basic use example so I'm left scratching my head how to even attempt to use it.
