  • Ventoy

    A new bootable USB solution.

  • For example I use Ventoy which makes deploying USB bootable Linux live CDs very easy, you just have to copy over the .iso file https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html

    It's also on Github https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy

But I'd love to hear about other chinese software too that people use every day.

  • windows-kernel-exploits

    windows-kernel-exploits Windows平台提权漏洞集合

  • This is a big one for me:

Zoomeye, the chinese shodan is ok too.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • starrocks

StarRocks, a Linux Foundation project, is a next-generation sub-second MPP OLAP database for full analytics scenarios, including multi-dimensional analytics, real-time analytics, and ad-hoc queries. InfoWorld’s 2023 BOSSIE Award for best open source software.

  • StarRocks, it’s a Linux Foundation project now, but a lot of the initial team and community behind it came from China.

Funny that I hadn’t heard of them in the database space till they showed up at the top of ClickBench. Makes me wonder what other interesting projects I’m missing out on in China.
