Thank you very much for your thoughtful comment. Exactly the type of feedback I was hoping to get. A few other friends including two contributors have also raised similar suggestions in the past. Those conversations inspired a few less trivial examples that you can find here. We also have open tickets for "testing Touca with Touca" or "using Touca to test other well-known open-source projects" but my arguments for de-prioritizing them have been:
