  • I am quite fond of the ibm vga font, it's not in ports. https://github.com/pocketfood/Fontpkg-PxPlus_IBM_VGA8 I found it while trying to see which font acme uses, I failed in that quest but i did find this lovely font.

  • I miss Gallant badly enough that I intend to someday create a high-res vector version which, if rasterised at 12×22 pixels without anti-aliasing, produces the same pixel-for-pixel rendering currently encoded in gallant12x22.h. Which will involve hours of hand-hinting and eye-squinting, but honestly, I've never seen a serif font that reads naturally at fixed-pitch.
