For backend, Quarkus with Kotlin, using Kotlinx serialization plugins. Usually REST, sometimes graphql or grpc. OpenAPI specs for the endpoints are generated with quarkus, then https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator generates clients for them.
