  • rfcs

    RFCs for changes to Rust

  • Well, it cares if they are super traits and you want to upcast trait objects.

  • rust-analyzer

A Rust compiler front-end for IDEs

  • Rust currently has a blindspot when it comes to removing/disable code in builds (e.g. removing server code from a client build, and vice versa). In C++ this is provided via the preprocessor. The closest analogue in Rust is #[cfg(feature = ...)] but features are intended to be used as additive-only and in a way that doesn't break semver. You can use them to do these things, but tools like cargo check and rust-analyzer aren't built to support this and so you get spurious error highlights.
