WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
However, I disagree with your reasoning that you can't use Orgdown documents once you've switched away from GNU Emacs. Orgdown, just like Markdown, is a text format. You still can view, read, search, ... using any text editor. You might decide to (bulk) convert it to any other format using pandoc. With respect to file format, there is no lock-in effect at all.
With Orgdown files in Emacs, you can sync among devices using Syncthing and use all sorts of (mobile) apps on your devices.
There is markdown-mode if you really prefer it over org. I use it to read markdown files sent by colleagues. It's very powerful, and very well documented, though honestly I don't use much of it's functionality. I use it mainly for it's ability to hide the markup (much like org) and follow hyperlinks.
Ooh, org-pandoc-imoort would be perfect for this! It'll convert your markdown files to org on import, provided you have pandoc installed, and then back when you save!
