StableDiffusion locally, what am i doing wrong ? what settings should i use ? i am using img2img and keep getting these messed up results

It looks like artifacts that are common when one try to diffuse at a to large resolution. You said in some answers there that you used your own pictures in img2img: did you resize them before? Is best if at least one side is 512px (you can upscale later). Also, you said that you used the base model. The base model is great and stuff, but being generic, it requires good prompting knowledge. I would recommend to download a fine-tuned model from civitai.com.
