Here is what I used which makes it all very easy: https://heroicgameslauncher.com - Connects to Epic and GOG account and allows you download games.
https://github.com/PhilipK/BoilR - This then grabs everything from Heroic, automatically downloads art and adds it to Steam. All your games added in one click.
