swirl - I focused on data initially, and this interactive prompt-based course was an unbelievably good intro to R, a programming language popular with data scientists and statisticians. I shout it out whenever I can. CodeAcademy is a great website which uses this same kind of structure. Their R course was initially just swirl placed into a web app.
Coursera - The two courses I took to completion were Algorithms, Part 1 taught by Robert Sedgewick (still available in its entirety for free even though Coursera has switched to a subscription model) and Machine Learning taught by Andrew Ng, which is now paid and has split into multiple courses that are probably a bit more in-depth than the one I took, which was more of an intro. The Algorithms course was excellent. The professors of this course authored the textbook they use, and there's great info available on its web site as well.
