Yes, to a degree. Using Z2M, this is apparently easier than my current deCONZ setup, but its also not impossible in either case. With that said, I rarely have a need to update Hue FW at all, and given that lighting is a "mission critical" component of my whole-home automation system, I tend to shy away from updating FW "just because" and personally prefer to only update when the rare issue arises.
