It's not an ESP, the Tuya CBU module has a BK7231N chip. There's a Tasmota-like firmware you can install on it: https://github.com/openshwprojects/OpenBK7231T_App (you'll probably need to desolder the module, connect it to a USB-UART to flash initially, and then solder it back on).
