Strange, they left in platform-specific code:

Why not strip that out? And it leads me to wondering what sort of gotchas are throughout, and what basic system assumptions are being made.

Ie, it's a little surprising that math routines aren't stubbed out, as well.

  Doom (shareware) ported to the Sokol headers.

I started my WASM DOOM port (https://floooh.github.io/doom-sokol/) from doomgeneric which was helpful at first, but since I had to 'slice' the various modal loops in Doom in order to make it work in a frame-callback app model it wasn't all that helpful in the end unfortunately.
