How do I transmit a video to my phone camera. Like the virtual cam on obs, but on android? so that other apps use the video that I choose instead of my actual camera?

VDO.Ninja is a powerful tool that lets you bring remote video feeds into OBS or other studio software via WebRTC.

  • If you're trying to just use your phone as a webcam in OBS, fortunately THAT is super easy, just go to https://vdo.ninja/ on the device and it gives you a browser source url you add to OBS. There are many different apps for this as well, such as Droidcam, but vdo.ninja is incredibly easy to use and free.

xposed安卓虚拟摄像头 android virtual camera on xposed hook

  • Thanks for your response. The real reason why I am trying to do this is just to play a funny video on Discord through my phone camera instead of the screenshare feature. After hours of googling, I found this Github page: "https://github.com/w2016561536/android_virtual_cam/blob/master/README_en.md" but I am stuck on the 1st step of the installation process: Step 1: Install this module and enable it in Xposed. In Lsposed and other frameworks that have a scope list, you need to choose the target app instead of the System Framework. Do you know what Xposed is? If so, how do I download it? Do I need to root my phone in order to download it?
