Anyway, if you want something geared toward scientific usage, there is Scimax by J. Kitchin. There may be some others, but I am not aware off.
How do you know? You said you want "fully setup" :) Prelude? Spacemacs? Your own version?
The previous replies are great, because they hammer home the point that you can always do it in emacs. I was unaware of the :; shebang hack. For running in batch mode only, you could use a minimal emacs build without X support. [You can even do it in docker](https://github.com/flycheck/docker-tools).
