Well there are some really cool alternatives in Firefox with extentions. I use Simple Tab Groups (A menu for storing groups of tabs, also can unload groups so they dont waste ram), but there is also Tab Stash (lets you save and restore tabs), Tree Style Tabs (vertical tabs in the sidebar with grouping, looks really good when combined with a compatible Firefox CSS theme(Look for TST compatible themes on that site)). There are also some others, but they are the most popular.
