    • It looks like the milo526 plugin has been superseded by this one, but the author says the API trial period needs to be extended every 6 months. Who knows, they might force paid subscriptions at some point.

    A Homebridge plugin to control Tuya devices locally.

    • So with regards local control using iRayanKhan's plugin. It's not actively supported currently, last update was June 2021. Also, the github page does say it supports fans, but when I try and configure this in homebridge, the pulldown menu to select device type doesn't include fans. I might try and configure via the json.
