  • PrivateBin

A minimalist, open source online pastebin where the server has zero knowledge of pasted data. Data is encrypted/decrypted in the browser using 256 bits AES.

  • I know about privatebin and cryptpad projects. They both provide (at least it is an option) zero-knowledge file hosting. For example, privatebin server doesn't know the contents of my paste, only my friend with a link can open this file. The link itself is a decryption key.

  • PageCrypt

    Client-side password-protection for HTML

  • PageCrypt does what you want and it's fully client side so no messing about with .htaccess etc.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

Password Protected Single Page Applications and HTML files (by Greenheart)

  • Thanks, that's close to what I want! This projects leads to another one which is a bit simpler and closer to what I envisioned. The last project can be enhanced to simplify access - switch from explicit password to password stored in a link itself.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
