Not sure how far you're willing to stray from creating games, or for how long, but you might consider poking about this curated program: OSSU's complete Computer Science curriculum. While they'd prefer you approach the program as holistically as possible, everything is free with no strings attached, so you can stop at any point you want. A lot of the courses default to a specific language, but are more philosophical and universal in nature—you'll see it mentioned in places that you can use your own language of learning/choice.
Learn general programming first. Exercism is a great resource for syntax and algorithms as you can receive coaching.
