    There's a few more extra hoops to jump through, but I've gotten 90% of booty I've trawled up from the bottom of the sea working just by adding the .exe as a steam shortcut, telling it to use proton, and optionally using BoilR to automate inserting the game art for the sorta-big-picture-mode the deck uses for the library.
