I have one static webpage in Azure storage account. I am managing my DNS using Azure DNS Zone. I created an alias record for @.mydomain.com to an Azure CDN endpoint. In that CDN profile I have an endpoint in which I have added a custom domain name for my root domain, like mydomain.com. I obtained a wildcard SSL certificate from https://letsencrypt.org. That certificate is stored in Azure key vault.
I was troubleshooting issues with AFD and came across this link which helps with letsencrypt ssl certificate with Azure azure
