  • xremap

Key remapper for X11 and Wayland

  • I came across this tool while looking for ways to draw circuit diagrams faster in inkscape. It allows you to rebind keymappings everywhere (also application specific) and supports vim-like bindings (insert and normal modes). Have a look at this short screencast I recorded: https://streamable.com/wyayvl. While inside inkscape, I enter "normal" mode and start inserting circuit components. For example, while inside "normal" mode, if I press "v" I get a voltage source, if I press "m" followed by "n", I get a specific type of transistor, and so on. Thought you guys might find it useful.

  • kmonad

    An advanced keyboard manager

  • I wonder how xremap (what you linked) compares to kmonad.

  • InfluxDB
