Create a network of android devices for remote debugging

  • Hey, I am not sure if it is super relevant to this subreddit. I want to apologize in advance if it isn't. Today, I open-sourced AdbOrc: which is a CLI tool to create a distributed network of android devices that can be shared and accessed remotely within a private network. It is mostly relevant for sharing devices within a team or an organization, where you can transparently access remotely connected devices via adb.

The easiest, most secure way to use WireGuard and 2FA.

  • It is possible to access the remote device, but only if they are on the same network. But it is pretty easy to get them on the same network. You can do that by using something like tailscale You just need to download the client on both machines and login with an email. There are many other ways to do that like using wireguard, zerotier or any other vpn provider.
