A little ZSH cheatsheet

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/zsh

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • zsh-abbr

The zsh manager for auto-expanding abbreviations, inspired by fish shell.

  • TIL about aliases. Makes me wonder if they could be used to tighten up the alias importing in zsh-abbr

  • ShellCheck

ShellCheck, a static analysis tool for shell scripts

  • Gotcha! My recommendation is just take them out. It's essentially https://github.com/koalaman/shellcheck/wiki/SC2004. Shellcheck doesn't check zsh scripts and its Bash and sh opinions are opinions not a rule, but they're a good starting place for POSIX family shells.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
