Project mention: A feature-rich front-end drag-and-drop component library | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-04-24dndkit seemed very promising, until I realized the state of development [0], and critical performance issues if you want to use it for larger lists (individual issues linked within [0]). So it's fine if you need to use it for simple scenarios and a smaller number of items, but otherwise, it's inadequate in current state, unfortunately...The fact that the post was in Aug 2023, perf. issues still remain and there's low activity on issues in general, doesn't bode well...

Project mention: Janky drag & drop animation using hello-pangea/dnd package (app dir) | /r/nextjs | 2023-10-17I raised an issue on the dnd package here, but curious to see if anyone had the same issue: https://github.com/hello-pangea/dnd/issues/696
Project mention: Hey r/ReactNative! I recently picked up RN (am primarily a Swift developer), and am currently trying to build a drag-to-rearrange FlatList. However, I realised that z-Index really does do anything to help elevate the dragged elements over the other elements in the list. | /r/reactnative | 2023-06-03I can recommend you this lib, I’ve used it before. It’s based on REA 2 codebase and also RNGH v2. You shouldn’t use PanGestureHandler anyway. https://github.com/omahili/react-native-reorderable-list
Project mention: Does anyone know of any new, maintained Drag-n-Drop solutions for vue3? | /r/vuejs | 2022-10-21A Vue 3 drag and drop library to sort all kind of lists.
