Only glanced at it but didn't see it mention 'V' which selects rows rather than characters. Which can be quite useful.

There are also tmux plugins to make some operations smoother.

Like keyboard driven browsers uses hints, so file paths, git SHAs etc. are highlighted using a small hint and if you press it it is copied.

Fuzzy search in current pane to insert/copy things of interest.

  • GitHub repo tmux-battery

Plug and play battery percentage and icon indicator for Tmux.

Project mention: Perfect ALARM Mk 2: Installation Part 5 (Powerline and Zsh stuff here!) | | 2021-03-20

tmux-plugins/tmux-battery - Because the Raspberry Pi does not have its own battery, using tmux-battery seems to be pretty pointless. You can get a Pi Sugar module for your Pi 4 or Pi Zero W, but I haven't tried those items yet. Secondly, because of how ALARM's aarch64 distro handles GPIO setup (which still needs to be set up), I can't determine if it will work or not. (If you have one and know how to get it to work, please tells us in the comments below!)

Project mention: Autoident drives me nuts. Even when I supposedly turned it off it still does 4 spaces in some places and 2 in others. How do I completely turn this thing off? | | 2021-02-25

I added filetype indent off so that indent plugins for the various languages would not automatically execute, and then I set smartindent so that regardless of what kind of file I'm editing it (very!) simply just re-uses the same indent from the previous line. For everything else I just manually ctrl-t/ctrl-d as I type.
