An easy-to-use multi SQL dialect ORM tool for Node.jsProject mention: Confused about connecting SQL database to frontend | reddit.com/r/learnprogramming | 2021-09-04
You could add an ORM to your express app, I've never used IT, but there's sequelize for example.

I want to know how can I pass custom type in store proc arguments in PG. I am calling my store proc for node PG module (https://node-postgres.com/). This documentation link doesn't have info about calling store proc.

A few of the most important characteristics of the solution we wanted was that any documentation-related work had to be easy for developers, and it would ideally be located in proximity to the actual implementing code. Anvil's web application is written in Node, and we chose Apollo as our GraphQL framework and use a modified version of Bookshelf as our ORM.

I prefer the postgres module. 0 dependencies. Easy to use API. Wicked fast. Also really hard to fall victim to SQL injection attacks unless you actually put some extra effort into doing something foolish.
Open source PostgreSQL GUI client for macOS, Linux and WindowsProject mention: PostgreSQL 14 Released | news.ycombinator.com | 2021-09-30
I've been trying out Beekeeper Studio [https://www.beekeeperstudio.io/] recently, and like that it supports both MySQL and PostgreSQL (and others I don't use). The interface takes a little bit to get used to, but it's been pretty powerful for me.
Before that, or when I'm in a rush to just get something done as I adjust to Beekeeper, I use Postbird (an Electron app) [https://github.com/Paxa/postbird]
Queueing jobs in Node.js using PostgreSQL like a bossProject mention: Do you need Redis? how to get away with just Postgres | news.ycombinator.com | 2021-06-12
We’ve seen success in our current node.js application using pgboss for job queueing. Since the primary database is Postgres, it’s nice to not introduce another dependency into the system, and take advantage of the infrastructure that we already have. The library supports most of what you’d expect from a job queue, and is crucially well maintained!
That being said, I agree with other comments that this is somewhat swimming against the tide. Redis is much more commonly used, and so if you don’t mind adding another service into the mix, I’d probably recommend going with Redis instead.

One use-case that the platform is being used for is for B2B SaaS businesses to offer their analytics through Chartbrew. So it is possible and there are people already using it like this.
Or if you're wondering if you can offer the analytics platform by itself as a SaaS, I built a SaaS layer on top of it here: https://chartbrew.com
