Project mention: Is it possible to train a self driving car on google colab? | reddit.com/r/reinforcementlearning | 2021-09-01

I've been trying for a while now and I started thinking it may not be possible. If anyone has managed to train a self-driving car simulator using openai gym on google colab(preferably), or on any remote server (AWS, GCP, ...) please let me know. So far, I tried carla, airsim, svl, deepdrive and they are all equally useless unless run locally with a gui. I'd really appreciate if someone suggests some way that actually can make it possible.

  • Scout APM

Scout APM: A developer's best friend. Try free for 14-days. Scout APM uses tracing logic that ties bottlenecks to source code so you know the exact line of code causing performance issues and can get back to building a great product faster.

  • GitHub repo carla

Open-source simulator for autonomous driving research.

Project mention: Simulation of a Virtual Bustling City With Pedestrian / Vehicle AI | reddit.com/r/artificial | 2021-09-11

It could be AirSim or one of the following one : LG simulator, CARLA, Righthook, Cognata or Ansys.

  • GitHub repo tiny-cnn

header only, dependency-free deep learning framework in C++14

  • GitHub repo Recast/Detour

    Navigation-mesh Toolset for Games

Project mention: Break-down of How the Game Actually Runs? | reddit.com/r/ffxivdiscussion | 2021-07-19

NPC navigation is based on the open source library Recast, but they implemented HNA* for better performance and falling meshes so NPCs can fall down a slope but not walk back up. Here's an old video of falling meshes. There's a paper from the AI research team at SE that went into more detail about how this worked but I can't find it right now.

  • GitHub repo interpret

Fit interpretable models. Explain blackbox machine learning.

Project mention: [N] Google confirms DeepMind Health Streams project has been killed off | reddit.com/r/MachineLearning | 2021-09-01

Microsoft Explainable Boosting Machine (which is a Gaussian Additive Model and not a Gradient Boosted Trees 🙄 model) is a step in that direction https://github.com/interpretml/interpret

  • GitHub repo SHOGUN

    Shōgun

  • Nanos

Run Linux Software Faster and Safer than Linux with Unikernels.

  • GitHub repo SSVM

WasmEdge is a lightweight, high-performance, and extensible WebAssembly runtime for cloud native, edge, and decentralized applications. It powers serverless apps, embedded functions, microservices, smart contracts, and IoT devices.

Project mention: Running JavaScript in WebAssembly with WasmEdge | dev.to | 2021-09-23

WasmEdge is a leading cloud-native WebAssembly runtime hosted by the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) / Linux Foundation. It is the fastest WebAssembly runtime in the market today. WasmEdge supports all standard WebAssembly extensions as well as proprietary extensions for Tensorflow inference, KV store, and image processing, etc. Its compiler toolchain supports not only WebAssembly languages such as C/C++, Rust, Swift, Kotlin, and AssemblyScript but also regular JavaScript.

  • GitHub repo AI-Toolbox

A C++ framework for MDPs and POMDPs with Python bindings

Project mention: Greedy AI agents learn to cooperate | news.ycombinator.com | 2021-09-06

I maintain a repository of many implementations of classical (tabular) RL algorithms [1] which you might enjoy playing with when starting out. I use it for both research and for student projects. The advantage of avoiding NNs when starting out is that it is much simpler to inspect the inner workings of an algorithm to see whether it's working or not.

I'm always happy to help if something is unclear or difficult so feel free to open issues there :)

    Native cross-platform system automation

    Project mention: PyAutoGui library for c++ | reddit.com/r/cpp_questions | 2021-03-31

While you can do that (quick internet search resulted in https://github.com/Robot/robot , not sure if it does everything you want), C++ is not exactly the right tool for that job. Use Autohotkey or keep using Python.
