zuluCrypt VS age

VeraCrypt seems cross platform. In my repos if I search for veracrypt, zulucrypt comes up which it says it can handle various volumes.

ZuluCrypy for creating and unlocking LUKS, VeraCrypt, TrueCrypt,PLAN-dmcrypt and only unlocking BitLocker.

Assuming you are running Linux, choose Zulucrypt or Tomb.

Forgot Zulucrypt, which is in most distros central repos since it's got a better license... Linux only tho

As others have mentioned the software you have would still function, allowing you to move it to another encrypted tool if you wished. As of right now I know of at least one open source project that can encrypt/decrypt Veracrypt volumes or disks...Zulucrypt by Francis Banyikwa. zuluCrypt, considered very solid and is one of the default software of Whonix and kicksecure.

Why keep something secret on a public repo? Is that not an oxymoron?

Also, I’m terms of encryption something like age[0] makes it much easier to not shoot yourself in the foot.

Why RSA specifically? For backups, I recommend Tarsnap. But if you really don't want to pay for encrypted cloud hosting, then check out age encryption.
