I even developed my own take on micro plugin managers at one point, zsh_unplugged. What's Zap's claim to fame?

Yet another "which plugin manager" question
If you want to have control over everything as much as possible, you can use sheldon/antibody or https://github.com/mattmc3/zsh_unplugged, then pick and choose zsh plugins you want to use
-
What if I told you you don't really need a Zsh plugin manager?
After antibody was deprecated last winter and the recent zinit debacle, I got to thinking - why do I even need a Zsh plugin manager? Thus, I have created zsh_unplugged to show you how you can clone and source Zsh plugins lightning fast with one simple Zsh function.

Zap: A minimal zsh plugin manager
Awesome work! I played with this a bit over the weekend and the code is very clean and easy to read. How would you say this compares to other micro/tiny Zsh plugin managers? Awesome-Zsh shows quite a crowd in this space, though many appear to be abandoned: - tzpm - uz - mzpm - miniplug - zapack - zit ... and probably others I missed.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing zsh_unplugged and zit you can also consider the following projects:

mzpm - Mini Zsh Plugin Manager
zinit - 🌻 Flexible and fast ZSH plugin manager
uz - μz - zsh micro plugin manager

zsh-zapack - The basic minimum zsh plugin **loader** :+1:
zed - ZSH Plugin Manager
tzpm - The tiniest zsh plugin manager
zgenom - A lightweight and fast plugin manager for ZSH
