zsh-notify VS zsh-vi-mode

Hello! I'd like to get a notification every time a process finishes, regardless on how long it run, but only if the terminal has no focus. Is this possible? I see tons of plugins like this one to send notification if the process takes longer than a certain amount of time, but it's not what I'm looking for

notify (marzocchi) : - A plugin for ZSH (on macOS and Linux) that posts desktop notifications when a command terminates with a non-zero exit status or when it took more than 30 seconds to complete, if the terminal application is in the background (or the command's terminal tab is inactive).

My following recommendation does not address your original question, but you might be interested into it. Since a year or so I use a plugin for ZSH which enhances the vim like capabilities on the commandline: https://github.com/jeffreytse/zsh-vi-mode And additionally in normal mode vv will open up vim for editing this commandline and a :wq would go back with the updated line. Not using myself, but cool to have.

Yeah, I can't imagine working without it. There's also a more feature-packed vi-mode (since the zsh vi-mode lacks some basic bindings).
