Freshly completed 80's tech text to speech board
Oh, you bet. I have a Turbo Pascal port of the (WarGames simulator)[https://github.com/zompiexx/wargames] running on my Ampro LB/Z80, and it sends the WOPR's speech bits out the serial port to the speech board. And if you're not too picky, the SPO-256 even sounds a little bit like the movie effects.
