Zap: A minimal zsh plugin manager
Awesome work! I played with this a bit over the weekend and the code is very clean and easy to read. How would you say this compares to other micro/tiny Zsh plugin managers? Awesome-Zsh shows quite a crowd in this space, though many appear to be abandoned: - tzpm - uz - mzpm - miniplug - zapack - zit ... and probably others I missed.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing zap and zit you can also consider the following projects:
zsh-zapack - The basic minimum zsh plugin **loader** :+1:
mzpm - Mini Zsh Plugin Manager
sheldon - :bowtie: Fast, configurable, shell plugin manager
uz - μz - zsh micro plugin manager
z-a-readurl - 🌀 An annex delivers the capability to automatically download the newest version of a file to which URL is hosted on a webpage
zsh_unplugged - 🤔 perhaps you don't need a Zsh plugin manager after all...
tzpm - The tiniest zsh plugin manager
