    That will not work... the thread you linked says RFE, that's somebody requesting that the functionality be added to xmrig but it is an open issue, so it hasn't been added. Like i said, you should probably just set up some machines to mine on one pool and the others to mine on the other and let them go for a set amount of time and see what the results are.
