I've had this... "thing" originaly designed to control Xbox mics on my controller for years and I was wondering if there could be a way to repurpose it to assign buttons to it in Elite? Trying through keybindings in-game doesn't work.
This one I’ve read in a random discord rant worked well with the old style mic input, maybe see if it works?
- Microsoft, if you truly want to stay "green" and stop tech trash, add drivers to the current Windows 10/11 builds to make Xbox 360 controllers work. As of now, hats off to this guy who is doing just that.
- Any idea what this is?

Could you add compatibility for the KingKong 2 Pro Controller ??
Older Xbox controllers might have worked via BT, but at least the current versions (series X/S) report nothing or total bogus values over BT (but work perfectly fine over the proprietary dongle). There was a lengthy discussion about that over on github.

PC users don't have to restart the game just to reconnect an accidental disconnect controller anymore. But note that the game doesn't pause when it happen so mind your battery
Try this one, I gave up on waiting for any solution from Microsoft and disable game bar a long time ago

No, Microsoft isn't forced to use batteries in Xbox controllers because of a deal with Duracell
this app show battery level in windows tray and give notification when battery is low.
