I'm fine with the basics of Plex - now what can I do to really use plex to it's full potential?
with an IPTV provider, you can proxy the m3u playlist from that through xTeVe to have Plex find it as a virtualized "tuner" and then just set it up just like a HDHR. it works surprisingly smoothly, assuming your IPTV provider is decent. https://github.com/xteve-project/xTeVe

How does IPTV DVR work best in 2023
Then I tried Xteve Pros: All Channels are available Cons: Recordings don't really work, they tend to record a 2-minute segment for the entire time Viewing doesn't really work, a lot of errors. Very random. I think it has to do with the buffering setup.

Does anyone know if the Ceton InfiniTV 6 can be used in Win 11 via Jellyfin?
I think if tuner->tvheadend->antennas->jellyfin doesn't work, you're done, move on to a $50 Prime.

HDHomerun options help
Personally I use a Internet Router with 4 DVB-Tuners inside (Fritz!Box 6660 Cable), connect them to a tvheadend (https://tvheadend.org/) instance which is then proxied to plex using a docker image of Antennas (https://github.com/jfarseneau/antennas). If i didn't have that Internet Router, I would probably connect a DVB-Tuner card compatible with tvheadend into a pc and do the same thing. You could probably also stream the free IPTV streams from https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv using xteve (https://github.com/xteve-project/xTeVe).

Live-TV and TVHeadend Plug-in
I use Antennas (https://github.com/jfarseneau/antennas) which makes your tvheadend instance show up as a Hdhomerun tuner. You could also check out xteve (https://github.com/xteve-project/xteve) and see it it would work for you

Hauppauge WinTV DualHD on Jellyfin, can't find documentation on installation.
2) Installing an "HDHomeRun" emulator. I use Antennas for this, but fHDHR is a newer option.

Jellyfin TVHeadend Plugin Series Record
For TVHeadend, I personally use Antennas which emulates an HDHomerun. This lets me pipe it in to Jellyfin with the native Live TV support, and everything works perfectly. For guide data, I just subscribe to SchedulesDirect which is also supported in Jellyfin.

Xbox Digital TV Tuner not finding channels
As far as I am aware, the xbox tuner is not compatible with plex. Although you can use Antenna to emulate an HD Homerun.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing xTeVe and antennas you can also consider the following projects:

fHDHR - fun Home Distribution Hiatus Recreation
iptv4plex - IPTV m3u8 Proxy for Plex Live TV & DVR
hdhr_VCR-AS - A pretty darn good VCR "plus" script that works on HDHomerun devices.
dizquetv - Create live TV channels from your own media. Access the streams using the simulated HDHomerun tuner or the generated M3U URl.
