Scala libraries on Android?
Note that it doesn't mean you need to write your whole library in Scala 2.11. You can write it in 2.13, but then your build script must have an option to compile it with 2.11. You can see for example how it is done in wire-signals, an event stream library I worked on (https://github.com/wireapp/wire-signals/blob/main/core/build.sbt). wire-signals was then used in Wire Android, an Android client for the end-to-end encrypted messenger, Wire. You can search for "wireSignals" in this Gradle script: https://github.com/wireapp/wire-android/blob/develop/app/build.gradle (Wire Android is probably the biggest Android app ever written in Scala).

Any good examples of an android app written in Scala?
The current (still maintained) Android client of Wire, an end-to-end encrypted messenger, is written in Scala 2.11: https://github.com/wireapp/wire-android However, the new version is in progress and it will be in Kotlin.
- Wire Secure Messenger is now available on F-Droid

Ask HN: E2E Encrypted Messaging App that doesn't reveal phone number?
Hey, same problem! I even opened a bug report at the time, which devs said they couldn't replicate :(.
I just looked last week out of curiosity. Apparently they figured it out sometime in 2019, and it had something to do with avatars. How odd.
Specifically, check the reply from LNFelton here - https://github.com/wireapp/wire-android/issues/777

Lightning wallet recommendations please
OBW offers great flexibility and in case you need it, it also has a hosted channels option (custodial). Don't put a lot of sats into the custodial option

ā” Lightning Thursday! May 11, 2023: Explore the Lightning Network!ā”
OBW might be the best option for what you're asking. It offers great flexibility and in case you need it, it also has a hosted channels option (custodial)

Lost funds moving from SBW to OBW
Apparently it's a fork of SBW https://github.com/nbd-wtf/obw

420 000 000 sats
Another option is in a hosted channel on OBW (https://github.com/nbd-wtf/obw) One thing that's nice about OBW is that it will also do fully non-custodial channels that you decide on and open when you want to get to that point at some time in the future. OBW also does on-chain transactions.

Muun is not a lightning wallet.
OBW is great if you like to manage channels yourself: https://github.com/nbd-wtf/obw

I used the lightning network for the first time. Iām sold.
Open Bitcoin Wallet is great (https://github.com/nbd-wtf/obw), you can use hosted channels immediately (which are a custodial solution to receive lightning right away), and you can open your own channels to any node you wish when you want to move to non-custodial.
- What is the best lightening wallet?
- Looking for android/ios wallets that let you import a bip39 passphrase without account creation or anything fancy like that
