I would like to announce a call for testing for the unofficial BLOCK snap. BLOCK is a brick-breaking game by KENTA(22) that features a satisfying block-breaking experience including but not limited to flying block particles' physical emulation. It is released in 2000 as Windows freeware and is brought to Linux via the WINE compatibility layer, the Sommelier Core Scripts, and Snaps.

I'm not sure whether this is relevant for you, but Snap is not too bad either and they have actively maintained sources for Wine apps. You could use sommelier as a base (read the README).
