It’s subjective, but he’s probably referring to the Xbox stuff, the store, Edge etc some of which you’ve said you want to keep. If you’re running 11, there is a debloat script here: https://github.com/teeotsa/windows-11-debloat and for 10, here: https://github.com/Sycnex/Windows10Debloater the repo for the 10 debloater lists a whole lot of bundled stuff it removes. You could always run one of those then re-add what you actually need. YMMV.

Also let Steam Cleaner clear out any remaining redistributables from game installs.

BTW This is why tools like SteamCleaner exists. It can find all those redistributables and delete them so they no longer take up space. I just ran a scan and deleted 1.5GB of redistributables and gained that space back.
