An unofficial Google Assistant client for Linux/macOS/Windows
No, you don't have to compile the code, there are downloadable .exe , .dmg., .deb files for Windows, macOS, and Linux respectively on the release page here .
Here's the link to the original project on GitHub - Google-Assistant-Unofficial-Desktop-Client , I'm using this for a week, and it comes very handy when I had to search for something, or control any device while studying, so I don't have to look for my phone.
